I go back and forth about posting my personal story with domestic violence. Very rarely posting, and always deleting shortly after. Between the victim blaming, having it brought up at some point in my g(rape) trial to try to paint me as a troubled attention seeker, and comments from people who couldn’t begin to understand the situation unless it happened to them… opening up just adds more insult to injury.
